Dental specialists complete two to six extra years of training after dental school and usually work on referral from a general dentist, although most accept patients who call directly. Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

Alpharetta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Alpharetta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I am honestly kicking myself for not reading more reviews before getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted here. At first the experience was fine, but immediately after surgery, I was in significantly more pain than expected and for way longer than I was prepared for. I also had issues taking the prescribed antibiotics as they were making me extremely sick. After over 1000 dollars, 25 calls, 10+ voicemails, and 5 messages to their office after my surgery you’d think someone would get back to me…but not once did anyone check in or follow up. The complete ignorance and disregard for patient care is honestly astonishing to say the very least. A doctor’s office should not leave a patient completely on their own after a procedure, especially when they are repeatedly reaching out for help. To be in that much pain and feel like no one in the office cared enough to even return a phone call was genuinely upsetting and made an already difficult recovery that much worse. I strongly recommend reading their reviews before choosing this office. The lack of communication and follow up was extremely disappointing.

I got all four of my wisdoms teeth removed here a couple days ago - I have a severe fear of needles, and the nurses and the doctor were so incredibly patient, kind, and professional! I was able to successfully have my procedure, with very minimal pain even 2 days later! Thank y’all for your patience and kindness, it really meant a lot

Doshi has been amazing to me! Only Doshi. No one else. Thank you Doshi. ❀️ Everything else including customers service from Marietta office was below subpar. I read the reviews and my experience has been summarized by the words and experiences of the customers who also has left 1 star here. Sorry. This business is ran like business not like a care service and it’s ran to a poor standard as well.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Bagheri at Georgia Oral and Facial Surgery in Alpharetta, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Dr. Bagheri was very personable, and the procedure was quick and efficient. I want to especially recognize Passion for her outstanding patient careβ€”when I felt lightheaded after surgery, she took great care of me and even followed up with a call that evening to check on how I was doing. The entire team was kind, attentive, and professional. Thank you all! I highly recommend this office.
